A Three Fires Collaborative Quest Employee to Employer Matching Event

The Tourism Industry Association of Ontario (TIAO) in collaboration with Indigenous Tourism Ontario (ITO), and the Ontario Tourism Education Corporation (OTEC) are proud to partner on A Three Fires Collaborative Quest Program - a program designed to fill critical gaps within the industry and encourage recovery and growth of the province’s tourism workforce by bringing awareness of opportunities to potential Indigenous employees. 

The program, A Three Fires Collaborative Quest, will be executed in three phases - each managed by one of the three aforementioned partners respectively, and this is our first Employee to Employer (E:E) Matching Event as part of the Program.  Open to potential employees who self-identify as Indigenous, and Ontario tourism businesses looking to hire, the event will take place virtually and will allow scheduled one-on-one interviews between employers and potential candidates.  

Career opportunities and positions vary, and whether you are currently seeking employment opportunities, or employment opportunities in 2022, you are eligible for the program. 
 
To be eligible for the program as a potential employee, you must identify as Indigenous. After being accepted into the program, in addition to the E:E event mentioned above, you will have the opportunity to participate in frontline training workshops facilitated by OTEC.
