A suite of physical and digital signage has been installed in high-traffic areas throughout the terminal and pedestrian tunnel at Billy Bishop Toronto City Airport, to help promote a new digital guide for arriving passengers.
A collaboration between Nieuport Aviation, the owner and operator of the terminal building; PortsToronto, the owner and operator of the airport; the Waterfront BIA; and Destination Toronto, the guide acts as a one-stop shop to highlight the accessibility of the downtown airport as a gateway to the city’s waterfront, as well as its diverse restaurants, attractions, activities, and neighbourhoods.
The new signage matches with creative on the Destination Toronto website and features eye-catching graphics with QR codes, which link visitors directly to the guide. It is designed to capture the imagination of arriving passengers, regardless of their area of interest—from dining, dating, and dancing to concerts, sporting events, and family fun.
