CBSA RE-OPENS SELECT NEXUS CENTRES AS PART OF SOLUTION TO BACKLOG

The CBSA has reopened two NEXUS and FAST enrolment centres in Canada. 

The NEXUS and Free and Secure Trade (FAST) programs generate billions in economic activity and are vital to local economies on both sides of the border, including the visitor economy.

TORONTO ARTS COUNCIL AND TORONTO ARTS FOUNDATION ANNOUNCES NEW DIRECTOR & CEO, KELLY LANGGARD

The Toronto Arts Council (TAC) and its affiliate city-wide charity, Toronto Arts Foundation, has announced Kelly Langgard as the organizations’ new Director & CEO. Kelly will assume her position on January 9, 2023. 

Kelly Langgard has more than 25 years of experience in public policy, arts funding, governance, strategic planning, partnerships and government and stakeholder relations.

GOVERNMENT OF CANADA INCREASES INTERNATIONAL EXPERIENCE CANADA PROGRAM CAPACITY

The 2023 International Experience Canada (IEC) Program is a reciprocal program that allows Canadian and international youth to work and travel in each other's countries.

This increase of more than 90,0000 candidates will help employers fill labour gaps, including for seasonal work opportunities in Canada's tourism industry.

 CITY OF TORONTO’S CLIMATE ADVISORY GROUP IS READY, SET AND  UP FOR THE CHALLENGE

The City of Toronto’s first Climate Advisory Group (CAG) has been assembled to advise on the city’s TransformTO Net Zero Climate Action Strategy.

The CAG will meet quarterly and act as advisors for climate action and the policies and programs being developed by the City. More information is available on the TransformTO web page.
