The Annual General Meeting is taking place on June 8 at Koerner Hall. Attendees can choose to join either in-person or virtually; in-person registration ends June 5.

We’ve partnered with creators who gain inspiration from Toronto by creating content through their unique lenses, across multiple interconnected mediums that show off our city and the amazing perspectives that make it what it is.

CITY OF TORONTO UNVEILS #WEARE26 CAMPAIGN AND HOST CITY BRAND FOR FIFA WORLD CUP 2026

On May 17, the Fédération Internationale de Football Association (FIFA) launched the FIFA World Cup 2026 tournament brand, and Toronto launched the local Host City brand with a special youth soccer scrimmage and clinic at the Toronto Stadium - BMO Field.

Toronto’s FIFA World Cup 2026 brand is now showcased on the new Host City website.

GREATER TORONTO HOTEL ASSOCIATION HOSTS 2ND ANNUAL HOTEL SUMMIT

The Greater Toronto Hotel Association (GTHA) hosted its 2nd annual Hotel Summit and 2023 Annual General Meeting on May 17.

The summit presented and welcomed their returning and newly elected Board Members and included presentations and panel discussions on leadership and culture, safety and security, the future of the visitor economy, managing your hotel's reputation, and retaining talent and building leaders.

ONTARIO TOURISM HEALTH CHECK REPORT

Destination Ontario’s Insights team has released the most recent Ontario Tourism Health Check report which highlights key recovery indicators such as accommodation occupancy rates and border crossings.

The report tells the tourism recovery story by curating relevant tourism data to aid in visualizing key information for industry stakeholders.
