  • New Destination Insights Platform is being rolled out to stakeholders (Board and Committee members) and staff representatives in all departments. Watch for access instructions this month and more info on how to use the dashboards.
  • As of July, the new email segments have been launched in Act-On and all newsletters are using the new segments. All email super users are using the new master lists to create sub-segmented lists. This sounds technical (and it is) but what it means is we have much improved integrity of our lists and data for all our email lists.

Q2 1-ON-1S

Q2 1-on-1 check-ins should be completed by August 15 in Culture Amp.

There are 2 primary functions of the Q2 check-ins:

  1. The first is to have a 1-on-1 with your Supervisor.
  2. The second, is for both of you to review your annual goals, make any course corrections or adjustments, and update your goals with your YTD progress.

1-on-1s are an opportunity to develop and grow, improve your impact and build your relationship with your manager. It should also be a way to align your efforts with our business goals. You do not need to do anything further if you already use Culture Amp for your regular 1-on-1 meetings. Otherwise, your leader should schedule a 1-on-1 meeting directly in Culture Amp, each of you can create an agenda, and answer the 5 "How are you feeling" questions.

GROUP BENEFITS CHANGE

Effective August 1, 2023 we will have some updates to our Group Benefits offering through Sun Life Financial:

  1. Per prescription deductible is increasing to $10 from $5
  2. Paramedical coverage: an annual combined limit of $1,500 per person (psychologist, physio, chiro, naturopath, osteopath, podiatrist & $700 maximum for RMT w/ Dr’s note)
  3. Eye Exam every 2 years, in line with most plans
  4. Dental Coverage - Basic Dental annual maximum of $1,500 per year per person & annual scaling units limit to 8 (equal to 2 hours)

There is a FAQ on the intranet and there is an information session on August 24 at 10 am. If you want to attend, Monique will send a link out.
