Created in partnership with the Metro Toronto Convention Centre, the new Front Street exterior graphics welcome visitors with QR codes linking to DestinationToronto.com and 6ix, our custom AI assistant, supporting wayfinding of business event attendees and leisure travellers from a centralized location.

Temporary Municipal Accommodation Tax increase

The temporary Municipal Accommodation Tax is now in effect from June 1, 2025 to July 31, 2026. The Greater Toronto Hotel Association is suggesting that hotels separate out the 2.5% rate on guest folios as "Temporary MAT Increase – 2026 Major Sports Tournament".
