Introducing Moving Monuments—a video series with Atlas Obscura following the making of a robotic drum tower built by architect Danny Shaddick and rapper Shad. The collaboration brings Toronto’s creative energy to high-intent U.S. audiences through social media, Atlas Obscura’s network, and a live performance on the High Line in NYC this September.

Toronto is developing a Destination Master Plan—a bold, collaborative roadmap to guide the growth of the city’s visitor economy over the next decade. The Spring 2025 Resident Sentiment Survey—designed to capture the perspectives of Toronto residents—showed wide support for tourism, positivity toward visitors, and strong engagement in visitor economy activities.

New study reveals European interest in Toronto

A new study conducted on behalf of Destination Ontario and Destination Toronto is out today, covering Canada's highly engaged traveller segments in key European markets in the U.K., France and Germany. The study reveals half of those surveyed are considering a trip to Toronto within the next two years and nearly one-third expressed specific interest in visiting Toronto for the FIFA World Cup 26.
