Toronto Waterfront Roundtable Explores Opportunities for Tourism Growth

Last week, Destination Toronto and The Waterfront BIA convened a roundtable with Ontario Ministers Kinga Surma and Stan Cho and key waterfront stakeholders. The discussion focused on exploring how connectivity, year-round experiences, and collaboration can unlock the waterfront’s potential as a premier place for visitors, also identified as a key opportunity in consultations for the Destination Master Plan.

The Business Outlook Forum presented by DT and the GTHA

On September 15, 2025, Destination Toronto and the Greater Toronto Hotel Association will host the Business Outlook Forum, a members-only event offering data and insights to support Toronto’s tourism and hospitality community with 2026 planning. Members who have not yet received an invitation, or those interested in joining to attend, can email community@destinationtoronto.com.

Connecting with Luxury Travel Advisors at Virtuoso

Earlier this month, Destination Toronto, a preferred partner of Virtuoso, engaged with more than 100 luxury travel advisors at Virtuoso Travel Week, showcasing Toronto’s premium experiences and strengthening the city’s appeal among high-value luxury travellers. This segment delivers strong economic impact and helps raise the destination’s profile across markets.
