TORONTO WELCOMED NEARLY 9M VISITORS IN 2023, STILL BELOW 2019

Last week, we released our year-end report, Toronto’s Visitor Economy: 2023 Market Performance Highlights. Visitor spending reached a record $7 billion in 2023 but the number of visitors in Toronto remains below pre-pandemic levels. Destination Toronto was interviewed by Breakfast Television, CP24, The Toronto Star, Global News and others to discuss the report and highlight the importance of the visitor economy.
